IGNIS SMPTier List Guide

Tier List Guide

BEST

The BEST title is reserved for the single best player on the server. It is not awarded during the initial tier test — it must be earned through in-server performance.

To become BEST, you must meet both of these requirements:

  • Be S Tier.
  • Have 0 combat deaths.

If no S Tier player has 0 combat deaths, the BEST title will instead go to the S Tier player with the fewest combat deaths.

S Tier

S Tier represents the elite players on the server. Only a small number of players will ever reach this rank.

F Tier

F Tier is reserved for the weakest combat (PvP) players. Being F Tier does not mean you're a bad player overall — it only means your PvP performance is below the server average.

The remaining tiers (A, B, C, and D) naturally fall between S and F based on player performance.

Tier List Order

The tier list is read left to right and top to bottom.

Left to Right

Within the same tier:

  • The player furthest to the left is the strongest player in that tier.
  • The player furthest to the right is the weakest player in that tier.

Top to Bottom

Overall server ranking is determined by tier:

  1. BEST
  2. S
  3. A
  4. B
  5. C
  6. D
  7. F

Higher tiers always rank above lower tiers, regardless of position within the tier.

Combat Deaths & Tier Changes

Every player must complete an initial tier test before receiving a rank.

After your initial placement, your position can change based on your in-server performance. Using the left-to-right ranking system:

  • Non-combat death: Move 1 position to the right within your current tier.
  • Combat death: Move 2 positions to the right within your current tier.

Players may also move left or up a tier by consistently performing well in server events, PvP, and other achievements at the discretion of the tier list managers.

Tier List Updates

To keep rankings consistent and avoid constant changes, the tier list is updated once every two days, with updates completed before 12:00 PM EST.
